About the Bulgarian Lev
The Bulgarian “lev” (plural: levove/leva) is the official currency used in the country of Bulgaria. Its official currency code is “BGN” and it is symbolized by “лв”. The primary denominations include 1, 2, 5, 10, 50 stotinki (coins); 1 lev coins (1 lev = 100 stotinki); and 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, and 100 lev paper bank notes.
