About the Croatian Kuna
The Croatian “kuna” (plural: n/a) is the official currency used in the country of Croatia. Its official currency code is “HRK” and it is symbolized by a “kn”. The primary denominations include 5, 10, 20, and 50 lipa coins (sometimes represented by a lipa “lp” symbol); 1, 2, and 5 kuna coins (1 kuna = 100 lipa); and 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 kuna paper bank notes. In Croatia, decimal numbers are denoted using a comma (e.g. 1,50). The kuna has a managed floating exchange rate that is tied to the euro.
