The Estonian “kroon” (plural: krooni) is the official currency used in the country of Estonia. Its official currency code (ISO) is “EEK” and it is symbolized by “kr”. The primary denominations include 10, 20, 50 senti coins; 1 kroon coins (1 kroon = 100 senti), 2, 5, 10, 25, 100, 500 kroon paper bank notes. In Estonia, decimal numbers are denoted using a comma (e.g. 1,50). The krone has a fixed exchange rate and is pegged to the Euro.
